Gwandu community commends governor's aide for development efforts

The Chairman of the Shettima Foundation Gwandu, Hon. Usman Buhari Ali Gwandu (Shettiman Garin Gwandu) has been commended due to his unrelenting contributions in the development of communities in Gwandu local government area.

Hon. Usman Gwandu, who is also the aide to the Kebbi State Governor on Youth Empowerment Programme/YESSO received the commendation this Tuesday when providing financial and moral support to Youth from Gumbai community under Maruda Ward of Gwandu Local Government Area in the construction of a road path through community development efforts. 

The Chairman, who was represented by Mr Usman Ladan Gwandu informed that such efforts among others are what the Shettima Foundation Gwandu had been supporting in various communities across the local government area.

The Co-ordinator of the Shettima Foundation Gwandu, Mr Faruk Bala also called on politicians to imbibe the efforts of Hon Usman Buhari Ali Gwandu by supporting physical developments in their communities. Stating further that people are now wise and will align with those who are supporting their communities in terms of need. 

The Chairman of the APC in Gwandu who was in attendance, Mr Mahmuda Gwandu thanked the efforts of Hon. Usman Buhari Gwandu, whom he described as an outstanding young and down to earth community lover, who has been providing support to various communities in areas of community development and empowerment, especially to youth. 

The Counsellor representing the Ward, Hon. Sharifiya Maruda also present, called on philanthropist to imbibe the culture of supporting community development efforts. As government has too many demands on their table, which alone may not achieve it in the desired time
